Visiting this magnificent fort is quiet adventurous as it is built within the sea and one has to walk for half an hour to reach the fort. It is only possible to walk while it is low tide in the sea. This 300 years old is Must see for backpackers. Other historical places include Undheri Fort and Khanderi Fort.

‘Mini Goa of Maharashtra’ as it is called with affection, has array of beaches stretching at stone throw’s distance. All beaches have their own distinct feature that tempts tourists grabbing their attention. Akshi beach has soft sandy beach with crystal water and suru trees fencing at the backset whereas Alibag beach has blackest sand. Nagaon beach, located at 7kms from Alibag was once idealistic for filming movies.
